#BuildBlackFutures - How We Can Use MLK's Vision for Black Economic Justice To Stop the School to Prison Pipeline in DC

Join the Black Youth Project 100 - DC Chapter in uplifting MLK's vision for economic justice for all Black lives. We'll be attending the #MLKPeaceWalkDC and parade starting at 12PM on 2700 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave., SE. Later that afternoon, we'll host a conversation about how Black DC public + charter school students are being pushed out and criminalized at an alarming rate. BYP100 believes that MLK's radical anti-capitalistic views can be used as a guide for how to #buildblackfutures, and our community will have an opportunity to collaboratively envision how that looks in the DC context. We're there to turn up, learn more about our DC community, and connect with others on how we can achieve black liberation together. It is our duty to win.
